It was Jimi Hendrix's debut album with lots of guitar feedback and distortion. It was made in the psychedelic era with hallucinated lyrics. Though Jeff Beck and a few other guys were playing the same stuff at the same time, Hendrix's playing and songs stood out to be the monumental ones.
