39. The Allman Brothers Band - Brothers and Sisters (1973)

After the death of guitarist Duane Allman and bassist Berry Oakley, country rock-oriented Dickey Betts took over the bandleader post and released this album, which turned out to be their most commercially successful one. For this album, Betts didn't look for Duane replacement but instead recruited pianist Chuck Leavell to do the interplay with him, which was effective in accentuating his vocal and guitar solo. "Rambling Man" was a country rock masterpiece and "Jesica" was the equivalent of "Revival" in Idelwild South.
