Part of Jeff Beck Group and part of the Small Faces formed the Faces. It was an impressive lineup of the then Mod rockers - Rod Stewart on vocal, Ronnie Wood on guitar, Ronnie Lane on bass, Ian McLagan on organ and Kenny Jones on drum. Most of the songs are powerful and hard-rocking, soulful and tuneful, and the booze buddies recorded a great cover of Chuck Berry's "Memphis, Tennessee", besides their own high-voltage "Stay with Me".
