37. Bruce Springsteen - The River (1980)

The River is the half-brother of London Calling. Both albums share many similarities, from being double-album to two-tone design and a collection of straightforward rock and roll songs. London Calling was released 10 months earlier than The River, so it could be Bruce Springsteen's response to his counterpart in England.
