The Grateful Dead blended folk, blues, country, gospel and bluegrass into nice arrangements. With a little LSD effect and the hippies atmosphere, songs like "Box of Rain", "Friend of the Devil", "Operator" dan "Truckin'" sound subtle and uplifting.
